Scott Cunneen, M.D. is the co-director of the Center for Weight Loss at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif. Dr. Cunneenwas awarded his medical degree in 1990 from Georgetown University in Washington DC. He then completed his residency in general surgery at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 1996, where he continued to serve as Associate Director of Surgical Critical Care and Trauma and as Assistant Director of the Surgical Residency Program.
Dr. Cunneen has fifteen years clinical experience in both laparoscopic and bariatric surgery, and five years experience with the Lap-Band procedure. He is associated with the American Society for Bariatric Surgery, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the American Board of Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
